2010 All Star Game Odds: American League vs National League

Online sportsbooks have installed the American League as -120 money line favorites over the National League +110 in Tuesday night’s All Star Game 2010 odds from Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA. The All Star game betting over/under total for the 81st Mid-Summer Classic was set at 8.5 with the UNDER at -105 and the OVER at -115. The run line has the American League -1.5 (+160) and the National League +1.5 (-190). The American League has been dominant with a 13 game unbeaten streak heading into All Star game 2010 odds in which they have not lost since the 1996 game with the only blemish being the infamous tie between the leagues in 2002.

As you would expect for an All Star game, both starting lineups are loaded with power. “Mr. Yankee” Derek Jeter returns for his 11th All Star game appearance and is hitting .274 with 8 home runs and 43 runs batted in. Six Yankees made the team. Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals was the top National League vote getter for the fourth time in his career. He is one of 5 Redbirds to get the call for Tuesday’s Classic. It will be Pujols’ ninth All Star appearance. He is hitting .308 with 21 home runs and 64 runs batted in. Home town Angel heroes on the roster include pitcher Jered Weaver, and outfielder Tori Hunter.
